I'm an independent web developer. For more than seven years I've built websites and web apps for startups, agencies, and local businesses, from the first database table to launch day.

Your written plan includes a launch date. A website for a local business is usually much quicker than a web app with accounts and billing. Until launch you get an update from me every week, so you always know where things stand.
Not at all. Most of the people I work with run a business, not a codebase. I explain choices in plain language, and I only ask you about things you know best: your customers and how you work.
